Why I joined the Socialist Party
Posted on Thursday, April 22 @ 21:07:27 CDT by spno

What's on By Billie (Nadine) Brown, 30, Socialist Party Melbourne and construction worker

I was forever winging about how fucked up the world is and after continually witnessing appalling unfairness and inequality in this rotten system we live under, I thought I’ve gotta actually do something, even if it’s just a bit.

Socialism has always made sense to me- I mean any system that favors one section of society over another is just nonsensical. I looked for a Socialist Party to join and I guess the Socialist Party (Australia) was the one I felt most comfortable with.

There are many cool perks with joining like taking part in interesting educationals and political discussions and meeting like-minded people.

Construction worker, St. Kilda, Melbourne
